I've just rewatched the scene from Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (2011) where Holmes and Moriarty play a game of literal chess while also discussing the metaphorical game they've been playing with each other. Still and 8/10 though. The ending was very unlike Sherlock to be honest and like you, I also hoped I could choose specific dialogue. The Awakened 2006 is one of my favorite games of all time and my first sherlock holmes game so I'm definitely biased. That being said they did a phenomenal job with this game.

As it happens, Moriarty obviously knew Sherlock far better than Eurus does; he worked out that Holmes will indeed kill Holmes, because he knew Sherlock, when faced with choosing between John or Mycroft, would rather shoot himself.
